Terry Blackwell grew up in Glen Allen, Virginia, and attended Patrick Henry High School in Ashland, Virginia. She then went on to the University of Richmond and received a Bachelor of Arts degree. Terry now lives in Dolphin, Virginia, with her husband, Kevin. She worked as Account Executive for the Xerox Corporation and has experience in sales from her position as Manager at Contel Cellular (now Verizon Wireless). Terry's other jobs have included homemaker and owner of Kellymacs Consignment Shop. Terry has been at work with Trinity Custom Apparel since 2009. Terry and her husband have three children: Mackenzie (Dental Hygienist), Kelly (5th grade teacher), and Karly (freshman at JMU). Some of Terry's hobbies include decorating & re-purposing things, watching Fixer Upper, loving the Lord, and spending time with her family at Rappahannock River.
Kevin Blackwell grew up on a tobacco farm in Dolphin, Virginia. He attended Brunswick Academy and Hampden-Sydney College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History. Kevin worked for Brunswick County Administration from 1986 to 1989 and then in sales at Lawrenceville Brick from 1989 to 2008. Kevin had always wanted to own his own business, and he got the chance to when he lost his job. He married his best friend, Terry, in 1991, and has three children, Mackenzie, Kelly, and Karley. Some of his hobbies include keeping things straight on the farm, cooking on the grill, fishing, and sitting around the fire pit with his family.
Judy Harrison is from Dolphin, Virginia, where she lived on a tobacco farm with her family. She has been there for 27 years. Judy graduated from Brunswick Academy in 1974, and continued her education at accounting schools and training classes. She then worked at Brunswick Chevrolet as the Office Manager for 13 years. Judy was also the Assistant Controller at Lawrenceville Brick for 24 years. Her job was alleviated in 2015, and she's been at Trinity Custom Apparel ever since. She and her husband, Doug, have three children and three grandchildren. Some of Judy's hobbies include gardening, canning, crafts, embroidering with her machine, planting flowers, and traveling - she loves to cruise.
Faith Moore is from South Hill, Virginia. She attended Brunswick Academy and graduated with the class of 2000. Faith worked for Peebles Corporate office for nine years. When Peebles consolidated to Houston, she went to work for Home Care Delivered. She found Trinity Custom Apparel when she was using their services for a t-shirt project for a local community organization. She was so impressed with their service, she wanted to work there! Faith is a huge dog lover and has a Yorkie named Pinky. Some of her hobbies include rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and the Carolina Hurricanes, going to the lake, shopping with friends, and anything dog-related!
Chris Goss is from Ladysmith, Virginia, but currently resides in Brodnax, Virginia. Chris attended Caroline High School and Southside Virginia Community College for Auto Mechanics and Photography. He worked for the Department of Defense until his contract ended. Then, he came to work at Trinity. Chris has two children; a daughter who is 25 and a son who is 22. He has a three-year-old granddaughter and a one-year-old grandson. Some of Chris’ hobbies include, woodworking, photography, working on cars, and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.
Michael Jones is from Richmond, Virginia, but currently resides in Emporia. Michael attended J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. Michael has experience in warehouse management and customer service management. Michael has two sons, Christopher and Michael, and two step-sons, Keith and Johnny. He has four step-grandchildren, Cameron, Tyler, Madison, and Evan. Some of Michael’s hobbies include all types of motorsports, watching Madison’s fast-pitch softball, Corvettes, and exploring genealogy.
Kris Walker is from South Hill, Virginia, and also currently resides in South Hill, Virginia. Kris studied Psychology and Early Childhood Education at James Madison University. Previously, Kris was a teacher at Kenston Forest School, as well as, Co-Owner and Operator of an embroidery/printing shop with her husband. Kris found Trinity Custom Apparel at just the right time and decided to leave her teaching position. Kris has two daughters; Claire, who is 21, and Charlotte, who is 18. Some of Kris's hobbies include running, reading, watching HGTV, and spending time with her family.
Christie is a native of Lawrenceville, Virginia, and currently resides there with her husband Gil, and their two dogs, Fergie and Ginger.
Christie is a graduate of Brunswick Senior High School and studied Journalism at the University of Richmond.
She recently retired from Southside Virginia Community College, where she held the position of Public Relations Director for almost 31 years. She also brings additional experience from working in her family's department store and serving as the editor of The Brunswick Times-Gazette.
Christie's daughter, Lannie, grew up playing softball with Kevin and Terry's daughters. Having Christie as a part of our team is a perfect fit!!
She loves traveling to Hatteras Island, reading, attending ECU track meets, where her daughter is the Track & Field & Cross Country Athletic Trainer, and to follow , Brunswick native, Javonte Green of the Boston Celtics.
